Victoria & Matthew tied the knot at the stunning Llechwen Hall Hotel in Pontypridd on Thursday, 25th June 2026, in a scorching 33°C heatwave - one of the hottest weddings I've had the pleasure of covering!

My coverage ran from the morning get-ready right through to their first dance. The couple said "I do" in the beautifully air-conditioned Jail House - a very welcome escape from the heat - with a brilliant singing waiter keeping guests entertained along the way.

We made the most of the shaded spots around the grounds to stay cool, and as evening rolled in, that hot golden sun gave us the most stunning light to shoot in.
