We chose Stewart after looking at several photographers and preferring his style and quality over the others.
We met Stewart for the first time at the pre-shoot at Ashton Court and felt immediately at ease with his personable nature. He explained how each shot would be set up and guided us to how he wanted us, without being bossy or irritated when we didn’t quite understand, he was very patient. This made us realise we’d made the right choice for our big day.
Before the big day, we had a Zoom call with Stewart to go through the final details, so we could tell him what sort of shots we wanted, so he could make sure he had the names of the whole wedding party and just to iron out any questions about how we wanted the day to run.
On the day he started very early in the morning with the bridal party shoot, as the wedding was at 11am, and stayed with us until after 8pm. Everyone who attended had nothing but good words to say about how Stewart interacted with all the guests, his patience and friendliness, never telling anyone to be anywhere, just capturing small groups as and when they were free and then staying in the background after the formal shoots were done, capturing some amazing candid images.
When we received the pictures, quite quickly after the wedding day, on a very nice USB stick, we were amazed at the quality, and quite how many pictures there were. Not a single picture was disappointing out of nearly 1000, it is going to be very difficult deciding what goes in the album.
We cannot speak more highly of Stewart, his photography skills and personal manner. We consider the price Stewart charged to be very reasonable and money well spent, considering the service we received and the time Stewart spent making sure we got what we wanted on our wedding day.
