Today’s wedding features the lovely Steph and Tom who tied the knot at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel on Saturday, 1st July 2023. I had the pleasure of documenting their wedding day, starting with Steph’s preparations and continuing through to their heartfelt speeches. After the ceremony, we took some group shots outside the hotel before heading to College Green near the Cathedral for a couples shoot.
Mandy & Graham’s Wedding Day at Orchardleigh House
Mandy and Graham had the most magical wedding day at Orchardleigh House on Friday, 2nd June 2023. The beautiful Frome countryside provided a stunning backdrop, and they made the most of the grounds for their outdoor wedding ceremony. After the ceremony, they enjoyed a sun-filled drinks reception, where we casually worked though their formal groups. Graham took this time to surprise Mandy and played along with their guitarist, Jason Huxley. Throughout the day I was able to spend some great time with Mandy & Graham. I especially loved their evening shoot where the setting sun was spectacular!
Gemma & Kyle’s Wedding Day at Blackfriars Priory
On Thursday 1st June 2023, I had the pleasure of photographing Gemma and Kyle’s wedding at the historical Blackfriars Priory in Gloucester. After starting with Gemma’s morning preparations at the nearby Judges Lodgings Holiday Apartments, I continued the coverage at the Priory for their ceremony and celebrations, going past their first dance. With its lovely atmosphere and spectacular rooms, Blackfriars Priory definitely stands out from the usual wedding venues and was a great pleasure to work in. Here’s a sneak peek of their wedding day:
Julia & Tom’s Wedding Day at Orchardleigh House
It was a real pleasure being part of Julia & Tom’s wedding day at Orchardleigh House on Sunday 28th May 2023. The day was absolutely picture perfect, with the sun shining down as they said their vows in the beautiful St. Mary’s Church, surrounded by the stunning Orchardleigh Lake – the setting was magical. After the ceremony, the happy couple enjoyed a wonderful reception and evening party at Orchardleigh House where I continued to shoot up util just after their first dance. Laura & Patrick’s Wedding Day at DoubleTree Cadbury House
Laura and Patrick had their special day at the luxurious DoubleTree Cadbury House in Congresbury on Thursday, 27th April 2023. I was able to easily move between the two of them as they were both getting ready in different rooms. I was able to document their entire day, from their morning preparations until their first dance. Although the day started off dry, the weather soon decided to take a turn for the worse but thankfully we had some dry spells in between that allowed us to capture some beautiful shots outdoors. Hollie & Jas’ Wedding Day at Hotel Du Vin Avon Gorge
Hollie & Jas was happily married at the Hotel Du Vin Avon Gorge in Bristol on the 8th April 2023. My day started with Hollie’s morning preparations, before moving onto the Avon Gorge Hotel for their ceremony in the ‘aquam bibe’ function room. Following the ceremony, we all moved up to the private terrace for confetti, drinks and family formals. It’s a lovely area with the backdrop of the Clifton Suspension Bridge!

Laura & James’ Wedding Day at Thornbury Golf Centre
Congratulation to Laura & James who had their wedding day at Thornbury Golf Centre on 18th March 2023.
My day started at Thornbury Lodge for Laura’s morning preparations. The rest of their day took place in the function room at Thornbury Golf Centre. With only a small shower of rain, the day was full of sunshine. Laura & James was lovely to work with and capturing their day was a pleasure. I was able to spend some good time with them.  As always, I love the evening shoots… and this one did not disappoint! As soon as their speeches finished, we managed to capture the tail end of a stunning sunset 🙂
Shailaja & James’ Wedding Day at The Rodney Hotel
It was lovely seeing Shailaja & James again! I last saw them at their engagement (the secret proposal)… so it was an honour being asked to photograph their wedding day as well! Their wedding day took place at No. 4 The Rodney Hotel in Clifton… Following their ceremony, we took some family formals during the  drinks reception before venturing off on a couples shoot by the Suspension Bridge. Shailaja & James had a special photo in mind. They shared a love of hiking/travelling… so they bought their backpacks along with them! What a cracking idea 😁
Rachel & Denise’s Wedding Day
It was a real pleasure capturing Rachel & Denise’s wedding day at Bristol Register Office on 2nd February 2023. Following the ceremony their wedding day celebrations continued at the Smoke & Mirrors theatre pub in the city centre. Before making our way to Smoke & Mirrors, we popped over to Castle Park for a couples shoot. Rachel & Denise were lovely to work with. Very happy to do everything I suggested, despite dealing with the fine rain.
